About The Site

What Is MusicPhotographers.net?

Music photographers, by the very nature of their work, spend most of their time working in isolation from their peers. This site is dedicated to those hardworking creative professionals who spend their nights behind the barricade, and their days in the studio or on location, capturing iconic photographs of music business movers and shakers - singers, songwriters, musicians, producers, and all of the other important music industry professionals.

MusicPhotographers.net is a community gathering place that brings these peers together for fellowship, education, advice, and encouragement. The purpose is to help all music photographers stay on top of the issues and trends in the music and photography industries. We want music photography to remain a viable profession by advocating good business practices, warning photographers of potential pitfalls, and by growing their technical and creative skills and tool chest.

This site is for music photographers .. not fans with credentials. We welcome music photographers of all skill and experience levels to become a member and participate. Get involved in the discussions, comment on the blogs and the articles, contribute content if you desire. You do not have to be a full-time or even part-time professional to participate.
