I think your live style looks great.
My advice would be to really build releationships with a band. A picture editor I would like to see the front of house gig, The band backstage before and after the gig.
Shoot a live gig like a story feature and Music Mags will snap you up in a flash.
They want to know that if they send you on a shoot you will cover the whole event and create a story.
There are so many people with great cameras shooting gigs from the front of house that music photographers who are really series have to go that extra mile.
