Last image (unable to get it into the same post: Forum keeps timing out)
#8: Gjunler Abdula (Poet)

Re: Assorted images from Atak [large imgs]
#1: very nice.
#2: nice moment. Keyboard playres are hard to photograph, compositions are somehow a bit dull and its often hard to capture the action (you typically cannot get an angle that shows the fingers playing the keyboard...). These problems are also seen in this picture, but I don't think it is the photographer's fault...
#3: Well, it's a pleasing picture as such :). Her attention is clearly directed to her instrument, outside the picture, which creates tension, but I'm undecided whether it is good or bad... This sort of puts an emphasis on the expression on her face, somehow.
#4: light is a bit harsh, and the compsition is slightly tight on the left side. also, the red part of his hair (red light?) is a bit distrcting somehow...
#5: scratching his nose? :) Nice colors, nice expression, pleasing background.
#6: a bit unfortunate place of the motion blur of the drumstick head...
#7: tight... Nice situation.
#8: don't have much insight on how to photograph poets. This looks nice, though :)
