Well, we'll have to start with something, don't we? ;)
I love taking pictures of the crowd. The smile of a young person completely immersed by the peformance and the music is very genuine... Here are some of my favorites:
1 From a pop concert
2 From DragonForce concert (power metal). the front of the audience is giving the finger to the audience at the back by the command of the band who thought that the people at the back weren't loud enough. I like how the two girls seem to hold the picture together:
3 Heavy metal. I think that it is essential even in chaotic crowd shots to have somebody's face clearly in focus.
4 Assorted limbs :)
5 Genuine smile
6 Waiting for the next performer (I think I'll be searching for these "posers" a lot more at the next summer's open air festivals):
7 Somebody loves you...
Re: Crowd shots
Nice work Kalle ;D
Re: Crowd shots
This is one that I want to go back and re-PP to see if I can fix it up. I turned quick to catch it and am not real happy with the sharpness of it, but I like the shot. Kind of shows the rough venues I have to work in. :D

Re: Crowd shots
Nice... I could never have taken a shot like that: I would have been dancing my ass off ;)
Re: Crowd shots
Nice work Kalle, awesome shots.
I especially like the first. It really captures just how enveloped the crowd can be at an event.
The second is just as great, with a completely different energy.
I never really thought of taking too many crowd shots, but am now very keen to.

Not the best technically but
Not the best technically but I like the crowd reaction to Seal. This was with a point and shoot and no photopass.
