MISSION STATEMENT - This site is dedicated to professional music photographers. Our mission is to advocate sound business practices, warn against predatory client practices, provide helpful and educational resources, and foster a sense of community. All discussions related to capturing, processing, cataloging and licensing music photographs are welcome.
Post links to music that is
a) freely listenable
b) good (in your opinion)
c) near cd-quality
preferrably more than just a few samples. Give some idea about what sort of music it is (not everybody likes black metal, for instance :))
If you have photographed them and have pics on the net, provide a link to the pictures.
Here's a few of my favorites:
- The BellRays - Funky rock (pics - not all of them mine)
- Husky Resque - Album: Country Falls - chillout pop

Is that the right URL? I just get a "This site is coming soon" page.

That's interesting. It worked yesterday, and I checked the link (linked from Wikipedia, for instance). Looks like somebody forogot to pay the bill :)

http://www.thebellrays.com works again. There's a full album of (near) CD-quality music.

You can't download everything, but if you're happy with listening online have a look at http://www.last.fm There's also a plugin for iTunes/WindowsMediaPlayer that you can download, and it tracks what you listen to (as long as your mp3's are tagged properly) and recommends stuff based on the "Rule of Crowds".
