List your gear. If you like, you can describe how you use them and why you've chosen that particular piece of gear. Also, if you like, you can link from your signature to your message in this thread (the subject of each message is clickable, and that's the link to the particular message inside the thread). The rationale for this would be that people may be interested in what equipment you've used/using (consider leaving EXIF info to your images so that it is easier to guess which lens from your list is used in that particular picture)

Nikkor 80-200/2.8 D ED (no AF-S)
Tokina 12-24/4
kit lens Nikkor 18-70/3.5-4.5

Actually D80 is quite noisy, though not fatal; perhaps if I will be eventyally cool, I will consider something like Fuji S5 that got more dynamic range and substantially less noise.

Ha, B200. Used to have one of those...
Lost it though.
Nice to work with. Quality of the lenses left a bit to be desired though.
Re: Gear listings
You think? I love the lenses.
I bought the body in Rotterdam around the corner from the Ahoy in some shopping center. Actually, I traded in a fully automatic body for the 2nd hand B200. The trade-in was bought 2nd hand in Stockholm from a Praktica collector.
Re: Gear listings
The lenses aren't bad, and certainly better then the Practica screwmount I had before... They aren't Nikon or Canon however. The difference is visible.

Re: Gear listings
Ahahaha. It has just kinda grown.
The 17" and 19" are on a switch for the server too, as I do alot of web development, so need them for that too.
It doesn't do any post processing though, so it doesn't get a mention :(

My gear
I will offer some comments about the equipment I use.
Please see http://www.br-digiphoto.com/About.html for a current list of my equipment.
I'm quite pleased with the D200, but I am strongly considering a D300 because of the lower-noise CMOS sensor. I am not interested in upgrading to a D700 or D3 for two reasons. I have Parkinson's disease, and sometimes my D200 with the 18-200 lens is a bit heavy for me to hold steady. A D3 with a 70-200 would simply be too heavy. The second reason is that I would also have to buy several new lenses, because the majority of my lenses are DX format lenses.
My favorite lens is the Nikkor 85mm f/1.8, and my second favorite is the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4. However, I use all my lenses, and can recommend them highly.
Earlier this year I purchased the Think Tank Airport Antidote backpack, and I can recommend it without qualification. It's built extremely well, but the biggest plus for me is the depth of the bag. It's about an inch deeper than my previous bag, and that makes a huge difference.
It's taken me a while to acquire the gear that's right for me, and I'm very happy with it.
