My first year....

I've had my one year photography anniversary this month and to celebrate I've been digging through some of my work from the past year to see how far I've come.

Here is a condensed photographic review. (I'm linking them because I can't seem to embed them with success)

#1 My first concert. I thought this shot was killer... until I just looked at it and realized it's front focused! I never noticed it before. Looking back a lot of my 50mm 1.8 shots are soft due to miss focus. I never realized at the time, I thought that is just how they should look.

#2 The only photo I have made money off of. I really like it still, even though it's OOF.
Taken with 50mm 1.8

#3 A shot of the band Tim's Myth after winning $300 000 in talent development money. At least somethings in focus!

#4 From one of my best performances with the 50mm 1.8

#5 My first show with the 35mm 1.4 L. What an amazing lens! Sharp and great focusing ability.

#6 One more from my first show with the 35mm...

I think in my second year I would like to move away from JPEG and start using RAW files.

thanks for reading and looking. :)

Sorry for not being verbose, but 2 & 5 are really nice.

I'd probably add a slight amount of noise to #2 (or have left some of the original), out-of-focusness is heightened when everything's so smooth :)

Cool thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that out!
