I recently bought a used medium format film camera, namely Hasselblad 500C (manufactured in 1961, IIRC). It's a blast :)
The next camera I'm going to buy will probably be a film EOS. They're dirt cheap, and I want to experiment with Ilford Delta ISO3200 B/W film (maybe pushed to ISO6400).
I'm experimenting with film simply because I want to expand my "toolbox" so to speak. Especially Medium format is a whole world of its own - although I expect to use it rather seldom for on stage shooting. Perhaps promos and so on would be nice to do with it, as well as backstage shoots.
From 35mm film, I expect interesting and more "organic" high grain black and white photos [than I would get using digital].
A good film scanner doesn't (didn't) cost too much these days. I paid under 200 euros for mine, seems to be okay.
Anyway, I just closed the deal on a used Canon EOS-1n :)
I keep considering this. I'd like to shoot chromes like I did in my Nikon days. But I have so much going on all the time that I don't think I'll ever find the time anyway!
If you can't find the time, create it ;)
Ah, but I've already created time to do what I'm doing ... I have run out of raw material for time warping. Although I guess I could give up forums!

NOOOOOO!!! ;)
Sorry, Kalle, my bad ... I won't say that again! On a side note, I shot Diana Ross last night. Three songs from stationary position stage left "pit", very limited. She is stunning. Huge voice. Four costume changes (that I couldn't shoot.) But most striking is her warmth and personality. More later with pictures.

I'm at an age that I jumped over film and went straight to digital but I would love to experiment. I'll be looking forward to reading of your experiences in film land!
