Sign // Liverpool & Dudley

Photographed Icelandic band Sign (www.sign.is) in Liverpool and Dudley on their recent tour... as always they put on a fantastic show both nights :)

A selection from both nights:

#1

#2

#3

#4

#5

More can be found over at www.musicxtra.net

Kinda dark and contrasty although it fits the look. Last two the faces are covered but I guess you were shooting that tight young belly.

Actually no :P

It was a difficult night for us to photograph at that venue... most of us came away with very few usable shots of the singers of any of the bands due to the lack of lighting... for some reason the drummers were lit far better...

I liked the last shot because of the pose and angle...

the fact they were showing their stomachs had no bearing on my decision to include them on my site or in the selection here :P

Oh, OK, since you mentioned it twice, both with tongues, even I "get it" that you weren't swayed by physical attraction or youth or any non-essential emotional baggage ... it usually only takes my wife two jabs to get my attention in these areas, too! :D :D :D

I really don't get why you have such issues with what I post... first it's the size of the image and then it's whether they are fully clothed or not. Granted, I can change the size of the image, but I choose not to... second I have no control over whatsoever.

Mary, #3 is absolutely stunning. I don't see many great drummer shots but this is one of the best I've seen.

PS. Don't let Dwight get to you. If I shot lounge lizards in tuxs for a living I might find all this creative photography a bit overwhelming too. :)

I like #3 and 4. Don't mind the hand in #4, because of the look in the eye.

I would have liked a bit more face in #5.
#2 is framed too much to the left IMO.
