I almost hesitate to post more "Lounge Lizards" here, but when all one has is old people with platinum albums in great lighting who have wowed crowds all over the world for decades, then that's all one has ... and after all, they are still Music Photos even if they aren't all grainy and dark shot from a pit. So, while no longer at the top of the charts (well, maybe not for a long time), here is REO Speedwagon:
#1 Obligatory collage:
#2 The wide angle view with video screens and light/sound board:
#3 We all notice the bald head now, but when shooting this frame I didn't even see it:
#4
#5 The crowd pushing against the stage ... no pit allowed here!
#6
#7
#8 A finally a shot of Brian way in the back!
There are several more in my gallery at http://dwightmccann.com/ChumashCasinoResort/REOSpeedwagon01312008.html. And again, I apologize for posting lounge lizards in bright light in here amongst the dark and dreary underbelly! :-)
Re: REO Speedwagon @ Chumash, January 31, 2008
Nice to see some more "rock like" images of you.
Some very nice facial expressions (love the drummer shot!)
Also some nice wide angle shots: (#4 and 5)
I think I'd have cropped the camera guy in 6 though.
Re: REO Speedwagon @ Chumash, January 31, 2008
Thanks! I suppose one of the problems is knowing everyone ... Ezron is the camera guy and I often have him in my images ... in fact, I've been asked for some by the AD of the Chumash! magazine.
