Contacts Forum - Read me

Welcome to the Contacts forum! This forum is only viewable by "Premium" members of MusicPhotographers.net. If you can see this, then you're one of them!

Many of us have put a fair amount of work into tracking down various types of contacts (publicity, etc), getting in touch with them, establishing rapport, etc. We need to protect these resources from freetographers (term created by me! woohoo!), name-droppers, potential FWC's, etc.

The Premium members of MusicPhotographers.net are pre-screened inner-circle photogs that most of you already have some sort of relationship with.

Please feel free to ask about contacts & post information about contacts in this protected forum.

As always:
- Do NOT name-drop! If you need to reference another photographer in order to deal with the publicity person, then you shouldn't be contacting them in the first place
- Do not spread the info around. Some contacts are real inner-circle types and are hard to find for a reason.
- Always have a legitimate reason to get in touch with the contact.
- If you apply for credentials and are denied, either respectfully reply and walk away, or respectfully determine why they were unable to approve you, then walk away.
