These were taken at The Plaza Club at the bands big party to celebrate the release of their first album on Century Media. The fog was so thick (so was the crowd) that one could not see the band at least 70 percent of the time. There was no security barricade either as the place is usually a dance club. Any tips on cutting through thick for other than focusing manually? I couldn't get a single decent photo of their drummer Gene Hoglan because of the fog...

As Ugly ...
As they are, the fog was probably a good thing! :-) While fog is often very effective and works wonders in images, when it gets too thick I know of nothing that will accommodate it! You just have to suffer.
