When life gives you lemons (or terrible conditions and otherwise unusable images) make lemonade or in my case just desaturate, dodge a little here and there, adjust the blacks, and try to make something out of nothing. These are some friends of mine named bob www.myspace.com/bobband out of VA. Yes, these are seriously edited. I'm just glad I was able to salvage some of them. The "venue" had one small rig with 3-4 lights (yellow, red, green, and blue.) The room was virtually pitch black and I swear I can just barely remember those lights even working. Nice creativity ..
looks like everyone was having a great time. I love the first image except for the headstock poking into the lower left corner. That D300 does a great job producing clean images. Making me think really, really hard about upgrading from the D200 after my experience last weekend. I'll have to write a different post about that. Dreadful!
