Some camera makers are starting to include a feature where all of your custom settings can be saved to a file on your storage card and imported to other cameras. I have ordered a new Nikon D300 which supports this feature. What other cameras support this feature? Would you be willing to post a message with a Zipped copy of your custom settings file attached?
There is an excellent D300 custom settings message thread on Nikonians.org that discusses custom settings and has a spreadsheet showing all of the custom settings menus with recommended settings for the various custom settings banks.
Did I say custom settings enough? LOL.

Canon 40D has custom settings
I have a few of the custom functions "tweaked" on my 40D based on the recommendations from users on sportsshooter.com since the bulk of what I should is sports.
These settings work just as well for concert work, from my experience.

Canon EOS 40D Custom Settings
Care to share them? Does the 40D let you save the to your flash card and back them up to your computer? Maybe you can create a ZIP file and attached it to a post here.

On the 40D
You can't save the settings to a card and back them up to your computer.
The next time I'm doing a card dump I'll get my settings off my camera. There are quite a few you can customize, but I only use a few.
