Marketing Stock Music Photography

Which stock photo agency do you use?
What percentage does the agency take?
How many images get licensed?
How often to images get licensed?
Do they get fair rates for license fees?
How often do they pay commissions?

Walter....  

I have met a few photogs from Getty .. they are getting peanuts per image depending who buys them.... think ISTOCK ...

I also met the main Photog from Wire Image... another great house with a large client list.. do not know what they are getting

 

For me personaly  I am looking into Licence Stream and start doing a lot of self promoting....

they seam fair and good rep so far.. Photoshaelter is another option but leaning towards Licence stream.

 

will let you and everyone know when I pull the trigger very soon.
