Just wanted to introduce myself

it would help if you posted a bit about yourself here and posted a few images rather than just a link directing us off MusicPhotographers.net
Dan
I should have given more information about my self. I was hoping to be able to start a tread very simple at first and elaborate a little more as it evolved.
What would you like to know?
I have been shooting concerts for a few years now and I use Nikon equipment.
I would be more than happy to answer any questions that would come up. My equipment, camera settings etc...
Since this is a critique forum I did not think it would be a problem to put a direct link to my Concert photography site. Now... If I put a link to a site that has nothing to do with Concert Photography I can appreciate your comment about directing you or anyone off MusicPhotographers.net
Feel free to email me
usually how it works (or so I've noticed) is that you post a few photos, say 3 or 4 to start, and a link to your website. If we like what we see or it sparks an interest, then we will check out your website.
As for what I would like to know? Well, how old are you, what city do you live/shoot in? What would you like to do with your concert photography (sell prints, newspapers/magazines/webzines, personal enjoyment)?
I am in New York and not in my 20's anymore. As for my music photography I would really like to work with magazines. There is also the personal enjoyment too. The challenge of capturing an amazing image under Live show conditions is a big thrill.
A while back I met a photographer shooting a concert and we have become good friends, he made a comment that He photographs concerts for the Music First and Photography second as I do it for the Photography First and the Music Second. I was not sure how to take that but after really thinking about it he IS right. For me, capturing that image is more important.
What about you? Anyone else who reads this: What comes first for you ...
The Music or the Photography?
it started as a way to get into shows for free and have access... now it's definitely more about the photos, but my passion for live music is still there!

Welcome!!! Fantastic shots in there!
