Calling all working music 'togs...

Hi guys

Hope you’re all well.

I have been asked to write a piece about how upcoming music photographers can break into the business and I would very much appreciate any comments you have regarding this.

Any thoughts/advice/tips/warnings would be great if you have the time.

Many thanks in advance.

With modern equipment, almost anyone can make excellent captures with a reasonable investment in learning RAW conversion and some post processing techniques. So, as with many other endeavors, it is pretty clear that it is who you know, not what you know, that is most important. This includes both media to whom you wish to license your images as well as talent whom you need to shoot and venues where you'd like to shoot.
