Last night I was shooting Korn and the opening bands.  I was contacted by one of the opening band's publicist to set up an interview before the show. I was doing research for the interview and I couldn't help but look at their live shots.  Most of their shots had very dark blue lights on their faces sort of like Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I knew the photos wouldn't turn out well so I sent them a message via MySpace and included some shots I had of very colorful stage lighting with a very light peach or clear lights on the artists faces.  They replied to my email thanking me for bringing it to their attention, but said that they don't have their own lighting director and have very little control over the stage lights.  Last night, all of the opening bands had clear lights on their faces!  The background wasn't very colorful, but I can live with that.
