Nice images, yet some slight distractions in the BG of all 3: #1: the drum kit, #2 the light can right behind the bass neck, #3: the mic stand behind the bass neck.
Cropping might help #1.

Unlike Rene, I prefer the 'distractions' of the background ... they give the image a sense of place rather than just being a simple portrait ... and I really like the 'vastness' created by the backgrounds in #2 and #3. For me, concerts are more about the visual and the gestalt ... I am not a 'music person' (as both Rene and Kalle can attest) and am drawn to the dramatic and beautiful.

I like the first and second, but third one just doesn't work without the hands being wholly visible.

I don't see it that important since he's focusing on the other hand. The weight of the picture seems to be there. But I agree that maybe the composition could be better.

Cropping it even tighter, almost to the headstock, on the right makes it better IMO.
